Providing equipments to women headed families for self employments

19 beneficiaries were obtained their equipments to start their self employments as first step among the selected 103 women headed families from nine villages where National Fisheries Solidarity Movement has been working with women headed families in 10^th of August 2013.

Women headed families who participated to the function shared their experience they got engaging with the women program of National Fisheries Solidarity Movement. They said they were able to come out from the darkness as well as   built up in many ways.  They mentioned how they maintain the small groups and how they organize people to insure economic rights introducing saving system also. They showed how their function and victories they had as an organization of women headed families in the area.

Intervening the national convener of National Fisheries Solidarity Movement mentioned that we were happy to see and hear about those experiences the women shared because women were able to obtain many results engaging with National Fisheries Solidarity Movement. He expressed further that National Fisheries Solidarity Movement always appears for people’s problems. 

Lavina Hasanthi who is the program coordinator of women section mentioned that we are happy today because we were able to see the results of our hard working of two years. Those beneficiaries should concern to ensure other’s rights and needs building strongly as women headed societies, she mentioned additionally.

10 beneficiaries who have planned to start small scale shops were obtained goods and 9 beneficiaries who planned to make dresses were obtained swing machines.
