We conducted discussions with the women headed families in  the villages of Velikakandi, Thumpalachcholei, Kitul, Urugamam and Kopaveli in Chenkalladi divisional secretariat , Betticaloa.

Discussion with Valikakandi women headed Family  

•   We discussed with the women headed families about existing situation specially the basic issues    they face as members of the groups of women headed families.

•   Discussing  with the responsible officials to find solutions for above issues of the people

•   Getting media coverage for the issues that women headed families are facing

•   We discussed with them about their economic situation concerning the income generation activities they engage currently. 
• Getting information about their neediness on self employment
